Margarets Hope Darjeeling

One of our best Darjeeling teas in the store!  Sweet, brisk flavor signature of the region.  Historic estate know for it's award winning tea. This is a second flush darjeeling.

The estate is located in the "Kurseong North" valley and was established around 1865. In the 1930's the plantation owner lived in London and visited the plantation with his two daughters.  The younger daughter, Margaret fell in love with the area hoping to return again and stay longer. Unfortunately she fell ill on her return trip home and died. In her memory her father changed the name of the plantation to Margaret's Hope.
