Our StoryOn a hot Saturday in June, 2007 I commented to Bryan about my frustration on not being able to purchase good loose leaf tea in the Fox Valley. His eyes lit up and he smiled cheerfully stating, "we should look into that!" We just ended a 6-month effort in trying to launch another business that dissolved after much time, effort and energy.
Bryan with his tenacious business sense and incredible marketing knowledge, had our financing secured and the location search began. We selected our first location and opened in December, 2007.
Since then we have relocated our store, upgraded our systems, and are planning more stores in the future. The journey continues...
We are a family owned business and are proud to serve the communities we are part of. We want to thank all our customers who have contributed to our success. We will never let you down. May all who enter as guests, leave as friends.
We also want to thank you associates (our found family) for all the hard work and effort. There is no one else we would rather be on this journey with! What's The Deal with "Fava Tea"?Our son was born in South Korea. When we became a family in September, 2006 he started calling our Golden doodle Moxie, "Fava" and our Pekinese poodle Tigger, "Tea". It only seemed appropriate as a family owned business that we would name and tagline our business after family members. So it goes like this: FAVA, the name our son called one of our family dogs. TEA: the name our son called our other family dog. TEA WITH MOXIE: the nickname of one dog blended with the actual name of the other.Being a family owned company is something we are grateful for and extremely proud of. We view our staff, our customers, and the communities we serve as family. It's our story and we are happy to be stuck to it! The Staff @ Fava Tea Company: Our Appleton and Greenfield staff are delighted to help you with any questions you have and look forward to helping you select either your favorite or new favorite blend! Stop and see us today!
